Washing instructions
Silk scarf / Men's scarf silk
Silk is a natural fiber. A silk scarf is a delicate garment that requires special care when washing. It is best to wash a silk scarf with a soft - not alkaline - detergent, such as baby soap or mild soap. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Wash it by hand with water no warmer than 30 degrees. Wash it gently in soapy water, do not rub or wring. Rinse it gently but thoroughly in lukewarm water. Dry your scarf outdoors or flat on a towel to maintain its shape. Do not put your silk scarf in the dryer! Ironing is best done when the scarf is still slightly moist and at a low temperature. Many irons have a special "silk" setting. By following these steps, you can safely and effectively wash your silk scarf and keep it in good condition for as long as possible. You can also always take a silk scarf to the dry cleaner for cleaning.
